iOS passport archive
Stamp Hunt
A passport worth collecting, not just completing.
Stamp Hunt turns each country into a collectible record with proof, rank, visual history, share cards, and nearby comparisons. Build your archive with manual claims, boarding passes, geotagged photos, and passport ink scans.

A few honest notes
Three little things, then we're off.
The site now follows the same tone as the app onboarding: playful, private, and straightforward about what Stamp Hunt is and is not.
Just for fun
Private travel collecting, not an official record.
On this device
Your profile and stamps stay local, with sensitive data always protected.
Not official
Matches can be wrong, so keep your real travel documents.

App structure
Four tabs carry the whole product.
The app is already organized around Passport, Scan, Profile, and About. The website should show that product architecture, not only the onboarding aesthetic.

PASS
Passport
Collected countries, a pull-to-reveal map, continent grouping, stamp detail sheets, and visual history.
SCAN
Scan
The primary entry point for manual claims, boarding passes, geotagged photos, and passport ink scans.
PROF
Profile
Passport-cover identity with rank, stats, avatar, home country or nomad mode, sharing, and nearby compare.
INFO
About + Privacy
In-app privacy summary, full policy, data retention notes, permission explanations, and local-first behavior.
Capture methods
Four visible paths capture and upgrade stamps.
The Scan tab exposes four main ways to create or improve a country, each tied to a different kind of travel proof.
MANUAL
Manual claim with GPS or the country list
Claim the place you just landed in from current location or pick it manually from the full list.
BP
Boarding pass barcode scan
Reads paper or digital boarding passes and can verify origin or destination with GPS.
PIC
Snapshot from photo metadata
Turns a geotagged travel photo into a Snapshot stamp when the coordinates resolve cleanly.
OCR
Passport ink scanner
Scans real passport ink and awards Rare or Legendary depending on GPS confirmation.
FLOW
Confirmation before saving
Each route includes confirmation, country checks, and clear feedback before a stamp lands in the archive.

Collection
Built like a keepsake, not a travel spreadsheet.
Under the soft onboarding surface, the product still follows the same archive model: personal profile, stronger proof, and visible progress across the world.
Passport-first identity
Your profile looks and behaves like a living passport cover, with rank, home country, recent movement, and collectible momentum built in.
Proof that evolves
Start with a quick country claim, then upgrade entries with boarding-pass scans, geotagged snapshots, passport stamp OCR, and combined proof.
Private by default
Core passport tracking stays local-first, with no forced account or cloud dependency just to build your travel record.
Turn every country into a designed object
Each stamp carries its own tier color, date, flag, and surface treatment so your archive grows like a collection, not a spreadsheet.

Upgrade with scans, GPS, and evidence
Use boarding passes, passport ink, and geotagged photos to convert quick claims into stronger, more valuable travel proof.

Watch the world open inside your passport
Map progress, country counts, and rank milestones stay visible so your archive feels alive as you move.

Show progress without exposing private data
Build a passport profile with stats, recent stamps, and collection quality that can be shared as a polished snapshot.
Living passport
Collected countries become a live passport with maps, detail, and visual history.
PassportView, MapView, and StampDetailView go much further than the current site shows: pull-to-reveal maps, continent grouping, latest-arrival route animation, attached evidence, and editable dates where it makes sense.

MAP
Revealable world map
The map lives inside the passport tab and uses tier-colored pins for every collected country.
ROUTE
Latest-arrival route animation
The app draws the route between the latest arrivals so the archive feels active, not static.
DETAIL
Stamp detail with evidence
Each country opens into a detail sheet with evidence galleries, current tier, date, and airport context.
DATE
Tier-aware date editing
Some tiers let the trip date stay editable without breaking the logic of locked proof-based entries.
FX
Tier-specific celebration scenes
Every earned stamp enters a celebration queue with different scenes and textures per tier.
Stamp Tiers
Proof gets its own color, texture, and rank.
Each tier is part of the visual system, not just a status badge. Stronger evidence changes how the collection looks and feels.

FAQ
Questions people ask before they join.
Is Stamp Hunt available now?
The app is in active rollout preparation. Join the waitlist to receive launch and TestFlight updates.
Do I need an account to use core features?
Core passport tracking is local-first and does not require account creation.
Can I share or compare my progress with someone else?
Yes. The profile includes share cards for story and feed formats, and Nearby Compare lets two nearby users compare collections side by side.
Why multiple stamp tiers?
Not every travel memory has the same proof value. Tiering lets the archive reflect the difference between a quick claim, a scanned route, a geotagged photo, and a passport stamp.
